I used a generative video AI software to create the video character portrait of Susan Wongtag from a series of photographs. The AI software have a tendency to make maximum generative effects, the main challenge was to give it prompts to minimise the movements and generative additional effects, to give a more subtle, calm, reflective personality. Looking at the resulting figure, it is not “me” any more at all, but a believable alter ego that has sprung from me. [Ming Wong]
