Conceptually it sits on the “landscaped grounds” - series of thoughts and creative process. This piece however was made intentionally as a diptych from the beginning. I was thinking about expanding the multiple framings of space beyond the frame of a single painting. The painting process was made in “L” shape configuration and flat on wall simultaneously. Hang is preferably in L shape configuration. Content wise, the images selected are taken mostly from postcard images of seaside’s, beaches, and lagoons in Singapore. Mostly man-made spots on reclaimed land.
